This was a logo design project for a podcast about the future, history and current advancements of various technologies such as AI, cryptocurrency, computer processing, and more. The client requested a logo in the retro wave style, encompassing some classic 80's design elements and combining them with some basic technological design elements such as circuits and capacitors.

I was very familiar with this style of design, as a few of my previous personal projects fell into the same vein, so I was very comfortable going into this project. I presented the client with various sketches and mockups to explore the many directions that this project could go, and the one he chose evolved into what you see here.

I tried to make this logo seem like it was on, like it was a real combination of functioning computer components, while still sticking to the retro feel. To do this I used a very bright and vibrant blue and pink for all of the paths of wires, boxes, and buttons throughout the piece. I added some glow effects I learned from previous projects to make it really pop. To tie it all together I used some fonts that encapsulated the retro 80's feel I was going for, and added some glow and a custom gradient in photoshop.

I love how this logo turned out, as a detail-oriented person I really enjoyed adding all of the small details to this logo, I feel it really adds to the overall piece and I try to do that with every project I work on as much as I can to still keep the balance in check.
